On Wednesday 14 March, 200 university students from across London are embarking on a unique 12-hour entrepreneurial journey.
6 iconic Routemaster buses are transporting students studying subjects as diverse as fashion, computer science, medicine and law, to 30 of London’s top innovation hubs for talks, workshops and behind the scenes tours. Stops on the 6 routes include Amazon Fashion, Hello Fresh, Deliveroo, Barclays, Campus London – a Google space, Creative Entrepreneurs, Innovation Warehouse, Digital Capital, Makerversity and Wayra.
The event is a unique partnership between 9 London universities – King’s College London, UCL, London South Bank University, Brunel University London, the University of Westminster, Loughborough University London, Birkbeck University of London, University of East London and London College of Fashion (UAL).
The event is designed to give students the opportunity to connect to real-world businesses, be inspired by industry leaders, get feedback about their early-stage start-up ideas and gain skills in self-confidence, creative thinking and leadership. Also to learn from people one step ahead of them, shown as vital for the progression of early-stage entrepreneurs.
VIP passengers will be hopping on board the buses to share their stories and stimulate conversations, peer-to-peer learning and idea sharing. They include: Rachel Arthur, award-winning business journalist specialising in fashion and technology, Carlton Cummins, Cofounder of Aceleron and Winner of the Shell LiveWIRE Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, and Deepak Tailor, Founder of LatestFreeStuff.co.uk and BBC Dragons’ Den winner.
The event finishes at Plexal in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park with a keynote from Diane Pearlman, CMO at leading video ad tech company Unruly, and a chance for students to share their experiences and build their networks.

University students are the entrepreneurs and innovators of the future and travelling on the London Venture Crawl gives them the opportunity to interact with each other and exchange ideas as we take them on this unique entrepreneurial journey.”
