London has been hailed the official global university capital by Times Higher Education (THE).
THE selected 18 of the best global cities for higher education, basing its rankings on cities that host the most universities that appear in the latest Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
Described as a “formidable hub of higher education”, London has nine institutions in THE’s World University Rankings top 400. And four universities are in the top 40, including Imperial College London (10), University College London (21), London School of Economics and Political Science (32), King’s College London(38).
London is the most diverse city in the world, as a quarter of the capital’s 400,000 university students come from overseas from more than 200 different nations.
Students have an amazing course choice with 30,000 university courses at London’s 45 universities.
