Apply as me? Study in London
    Hello ladies and gentleman
    Regards
Well, I am Denilson Isac, Mozambique, formed three years in accounting and High school finance in my country, I want to continue my graduate studies with a scholarship at the University of Westminster or London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
    1. Of course, I understand that we must make the choice of the course, the University, and see Qualifications required by the universities but “I do not quite understand your explanation …”
    2. In fine tell me more about: If my certificate serves to I apply? If not, why? Apply as me? To whom? At where? How to get the scholarship? What are the Requirements? What is the first to Application or Scholarship Application? When I get in touch with the university? Universities have target audience? I spend as for all this?
    3. But I did not understand much about the Requirements required because I am in a country with extremely different forms of education compared to London, I think it should specify more details of the documents required for each student in your country of origin.
I would love to know more information.
    thank you

Hi Denilson, thank you for your message. Generally, you need to apply for the academic course first before you can apply for a scholarship. The application procedure depends on whether you want to apply for an undergraduate or postgraduate degree. Please refer to the How to Apply page for more information on this.

With regards to your qualifications, UK universities accept a wide variety of qualifications from around the world. You can find a general guide to entry requirements for students from different countries in the Your Country section. If your country is not listed, please let me know and we’ll provide you with the relevant information. The university’s own websites usually also state specific entry requirements for different countries.

Hope this helps! Let us know if you have further questions.

  5. phiney says:

I have admission letter to study a foundation program that last for less than six months in London.I have paid 66% of the fees.I have bank statement that is very valid with enough cash in my savings account. The statement is not yet 28 days old. can I still apply for visa? My visa will not be TİER 4.It will be short term study visa. Is it ok to apply with maintenance funds that are less than 28 days?

    • Study London says:

Hi Phiney, the Home Office guidelines for the short-term visa do not state that your funds have to be in your account for 28 days. This rule is only for Tier 4 visa applications so you should have no problems with this. The immigration rules also do not state exactly how much money you need to show but the guidance states that you should be able to show evidence of funds to cover your period of stay in the UK and your journey to and from the UK. Good luck!

Hello Teddy, if you are looking to start studying in London in September 2018, you can apply for the course and scholarship from September 2017. You can apply to as many universities as you like. We would recommend applying early. This way, you can wait to see if you are accepted before preparing the scholarship applications. Please note that many universities publish their scholarship options in November/December time each year so do check the universities’ websites regularly for the latest information. Good luck!

    • Study London says:

Hi Dorathy, foundation courses are designed to bridge the gap between your own education and a UK degree, they can also assist with improving various skills such as Maths and English. Many universities will require you to undertake a foundation course if your grades are less than the requirements they ask for.
