London is home to over 100,000 international students from around the world and this year, we are looking for the city’s most talented and innovative international students. Applications are now open for current students to enter the competition for the International Student Innovation Award.

London is the most popular study destination in the world. There are many reasons for this, from our world-class universities and excellent courses on offer, to London being one of the most exciting cities to live in.

Universities in London place great emphasis on providing students with the skills and opportunities to develop successful careers. The new International Student Innovation Award is designed to recognise, celebrate and support international student talent in London.

Who can enter?

The competition is only open to students who are already studying in London. If you are a current student and you are developing an idea or innovation with commercial potential, either individually or within a team, we want to hear from you. We are looking for projects in the areas of fashion, art & design, technology and science. The competition is open to all current international and European Union students studying at any of the city’s higher education institutions.

The prize

A prestigious panel of judges from the fields of fashion, art & design, technology and science will evaluate your project and select the winners. The winners stand the chance to receive:

  • £10,000 development funding for your idea.
  • Access to an exclusive ‘Entrepreneur Boot Camp’ run by leading business mentors.
  • A commendation recognising you as London’s most innovative international student.
  • International media coverage of your project.

How to enter

Submit your entry on by 31st July 2016. You can register on the website and then return and save your work before the final submission.
