Its ranking is really high across a wide range of league tables. According to the latest REF 2014 report, UCL was ranked the top UK University when assessed by research power. It is an honour to be a UCL student.
- The academic environment of UCL is amazing
It produced one more Nobel Prize winner in 2014. As a student at UCL, you have the chance to work with the world’s leading researchers.
- The students here are vibrant and friendly
The culture of the campus is extremely diverse due to a large number of international students from all over the world. For example, this year there are seven new research students in our group, and each comes from a different country.
- The central London location of UCL
UCL’s location offers students great links to all kinds of facilities in the city. I often go swimming when I am not studying. The gym is just across the road from our department. Also, the central location grants the students more collaboration opportunities from both industry and academia.
- The student life at UCL is exciting and colourful.
With access to more than 200 different societies and clubs at UCL, you will find it really easy to meet other people with the same interests.
