For the second year, a select group of international students were welcomed to their new home city at an official event hosted by Rajesh Agrawal, the Deputy Mayor of London, last week (17 October 2018).
After meeting Rajesh, students from the US, France, China, Austria, India and Hong Kong, Ghana and Cambodia were treated to a whirlwind afternoon experiencing some of London’s best activities.
After lunch at by Chloe, one of London’s newest trendy spots, students hopped in classic Mini Coopers for a whistle-stop tour of the city’s coolest sites with smallcarBIGCITY, followed by a chocolate-making class at prestigious Hotel Chocolat, before finishing with drinks on the roof of Urbanest Westminster Bridge, a private student accommodation block with panoramic views of the city.

Students who took part in the International Student Welcome are enrolled at the University of East London; London Metropolitan University; Istituto Marangoni London; St George’s, University of London; Queen Mary University of London; London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE); Brunel University London and the Royal College of Art.
