Who we are
New College of the Humanities (NCH) is a prestigious academic institution in the centre of London. We offer a unique liberal arts-inspired curriculum with highly personalised teaching. We are situated in Bloomsbury, London’s cultural and academic quarter, just steps away from the British Museum and a few minutes’ walk from Oxford Street, Covent Garden, West End theatres and an array of galleries and museums.
At undergraduate level you can choose a major and a complementary minor subject from the following subject areas: Art History, Creative Writing, Economics, English Literature, Law, History, Philosophy, Politics & International Relations as well as PPE and PPH. In addition to this you’ll also take the NCH diploma which consists of core courses in applied ethics, critical reasoning, science literacy and LAUNCH, our unique professional development programme. LAUNCH is designed to provide you with an understanding of areas such as marketing, teamwork or entrepreneurship; skills that will enable you to stand out in a competitive graduate recruitment market. The diploma is awarded in addition to your degree and really sets you apart from your peers.
At postgraduate level you have the choice of four different Masters in the following subject areas: Economics, History, Philosophy and Politics.
