Monday 15 January 2018 is the deadline for UCAS applications for most undergraduate courses starting in September 2018.
‘UCAS‘, the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service, is the official UK government approved application service for undergraduate courses at UK universities. International students who want to study in London should register on UCAS to complete their university application.
Once registered with UCAS, you’ll need to complete a number of sections, including personal details, your previous educational qualifications, financial information and your course choices. Read the undergraduate application guide for more information.
You will also need to write a personal statement. Take your time completing this as it is your opportunity to speak directly to your shortlisted universities. You can demonstrate your enthusiasm and tell them why they should pick you. Read the Do’s and Don’t of Personal Statements for tips on how to write a personal statement.
The UCAS application system is available online 24 hours a day.
The majority of undergraduate courses in the UK have an application deadline of 15th January every year.
However, do check the application deadline for your chosen courses carefully as not all undergraduate courses have the same UCAS deadline. For example the deadline for medicine courses is usually in October each year.
Some universities also allow international students to apply after the official UCAS deadline. Please contact your chosen universities for further information.
